At Breakthrough of Greater Philadelphia, we are passionate about the power of education to transform lives and work daily to set a solid foundation for high school success and beyond. We train future teachers through our selective residency program, providing hands-on experiences and professional coaching for our college-aged Teaching Fellows.
Our middle school Scholars also commit to 3+ years of rigorous academic and co-curricular enrichment to realize their educational and career aspirations. We service one student for $4,000 per year, with a goal of serving 210 students in 2023. It is through the generous support of individuals, corporations, foundations and the Philadelphia/Pennsylvania communities that we are able to serve our Teaching Fellows and Scholars.
